e4 employees came together April 25-28 for the e4 Company Retreat, which entailed a cruise to the Bahamas on the Carnival Liberty for not only e4 staff, but spouses/significant others as well. This annual event offers the opportunity to come together as a team to celebrate the year of hard work and and also plan for the future.

In addition to enjoying lots of fun and sun, e4 team members worked hard on culture and business development improvement initiatives. Margie Stackhouse, Sr. Coding Consultant for e4 and President of the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association (PHIMA), recently met with University of Pittsburgh HIM students to talk about non-traditional careers in health information management (HIM) and her experiences in HIM. She also talked about opportunities for the students to volunteer with PHIMA and network with fellow HIM professionals.
