e4 continued its support and leadership involvement with the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association (PHIMA) at the PHIMA 80th Annual Meeting at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort on May 20-21, 2018.
At the Installation of Officers, e4’s Chris Parfitt, RHIT, CDIP, Sr. Consultant & Coding Operations Manager and current PHIMA President, helped welcome Margie Stackhouse, AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer and e4 Lead Auditor, as the incoming President as of July 1, 2018. Also representing e4 as PHIMA Committee Chairs are Trina Shreck, CCS, R.T.(R)(M)(MR), e4 Consultant, Technology Chair and Pat Swetland, RHIT, CCS, Coding Roundtable Chair.
Jon Gabster, RHIA and Mike Brensinger, RHIA, CPHQ represented e4 in the exhibit hall, providing an assortment of goodies and plenty of information about e4’s service offerings to the attendees.
e4 was also well represented in speaking engagements. Jill S. Clark, MBA, RHIA, CHDA, FAHIMA, AHIMA Board of Directors, presented the AHIMA 2018 Report to the CSAs. Also presenting were Chris Parfitt, RHIT, CDIP, Pat Swetland, RHIT, CCS and Sheila Sinkovitz-Riss, RHIT, CDIP, CCS. They presented “Coding Associates – Growing Your Own Coders”, which was part of the e4 Coding Apprenticeship program. There was lots of networking, education and friends!
