e4 provides advisory and consultative services to support your Revenue Cycle in developing and implementing a Corporate Revenue Integrity Program addressing charge configuration, charge capture, and charge reconciliation. Emphasis is placed on setting key performance indicator targets and measuring against them. With the policy in place, e4 will work with revenue generating departments to assess their current state and assist them with developing, documenting, and implementing department specific procedures that leverage tools and technology and enable compliance with corporate policy.

e4 can help ensure your Revenue Integrity program is able to determine revenue leakage risks and identify areas of opportunity for enhanced internal controls, standardization, and best practices. e4 will provide advisory and consultative services, with Program Management and Revenue Integrity subject matter experts that possess program and project management experience, EHR system configuration and workflow knowledge, revenue integrity and healthcare operations experience.

Areas of Focus:

Policy Development: Development and implementation of a policy that addresses charge configuration, charge master maintenance, charge capture, and charge reconciliation, and delineates roles & responsibilities and reporting & escalation protocols to help establish the framework.

Assessment of Current State: Review of the system configuration for charges, charge triggers and the associated reconciliation tools. In addition to system build, the associated operational processes and workflows will be reviewed.

Remediation & Optimization: e4 will liaise with Revenue Integrity and revenue generation departments to develop, document, and implement department-specific procedures that ensure alignment with the newly implemented corporate policy.
